Hike from Saint-Martin-le-Vinoux to La Bastille de Grenoble and Mont Jalla.

    Departure from the parking lot at the corner of rue de Narbonne and
    rue de la Résistance. At Saint-Martin-le-Vinoux Pique-Pierre, on the south side of the
    south of the parking lot, take the Chemin de l'Ecluse towards the
    Ancienne Cimenterie and La Bastille. At the end of chemin de l'Ecluse,
    at Clos du Daim, turn right onto Chemin du Canet.
    Continue through St-Martin-le-Vinoux via rue du 8 mai
    1945, pass near the cemetery and continue to the Ancienne
    Cimenterie. Cross the route de Clémencières, and take the metal staircase
    to cross the fortification wall and take the path on the right towards
    right towards La Bastille and Grotte de Mandrin.
    The slope is steep, but don't cut the many switchbacks. Follow the
    direction of La Bastille at the next intersection. A breathtaking view
    of Grenoble and the Vercors at the protective barrier. Continue
    to Grotte de Mandrin. Turn right towards
    towards La Bastille. At the junction just before the drawbridge, before
    before turning left towards Glacis, you can enter La Bastille's
    La Bastille to admire the view from Place Tournadre
    and retrace your steps to return to the circuit. Continue straight ahead
    to the Glacis. Take the wide left-hand path towards
    Mont Jalla. At l'Adret, turn left as far as La Chênaie and follow the
    left towards Mont Jalla. Here you can admire the view and visit
    the national mountain troop memorial. On leaving the Memorial,
    take the path towards Mas Caché and St-Martin-le-Vinoux.
    Shortly after the protective fence, the path turns left and descends
    Mas Caché. Follow the road in the direction of La Gomma
    for 300m, and don't immediately come out onto the Clémencières road.
    take the access track to the houses as far as La Gomma. Cross the
    route de Clémencières, walk down it for 20m and turn right onto the
    towards Gatinet. Cross the Souchet
    du Souchet at Moulin and head up towards Gatinet. Turn
    left onto route de Narbonne. Go through the hamlet of Narbonne, turn left
    the Chemin du Canet to the left, down to the hamlet and continue
    straight ahead on Chemin de la Cheminée. At the junction with the route de
    Narbonne, turn left down the road to Saint-Martin-le-Vinoux.
