The Old Crossey (Crossey 1) is a historic site registered with the PDESI of the Department of Isère. The access was arranged by the latter.

From the Les Grollets public transport stop, continue ahead for a few metres on the main road to take the impasse des Catins on your right, which turns into a path. At the intersection, turn left onto the footpath which follows a track to the first parking lot at the foot of the cliff. Sport climbing in a natural site requires a mastery of safety rules. It is the responsibility of all practitioners to assess their ability to practice climbing and to respect the safety rules. Practitioners must be able to judge the condition of the rock and the equipment in place. Training in the use of climbing equipment and safety techniques is essential. Wearing a helmet is recommended. It is essential to use the marked access routes or indicated in the guidebooks. Pick up your trash.
