Visit specially designed for schoolchildren on the themes of glaciers, chemical and mechanical erosion, fissures, concretions and the various legends surrounding caves...
A visit adapted to the 5th grade curriculum, focusing on water as the source of the underground and outdoor landscapes that surround us.
This tour, which lasts around 1h30, takes us on a journey through time! From the Cretaceous to the glaciers, from the Magdalenians to the Dukes of Savoy, via the Romans and a legendary 18th-century smuggler... We'll tell you about the different stages in the formation of the Saint-Christophe caves, their similarities and differences, talk about fossils and concretions, the history of the Voie Sarde, a natural canyon frequented by water and people, and finish in front of the historic monument erected by the Duke of Savoy in the 17th century.
The guide's talk is adaptable to the project of the supervising teams.
If you have several groups of children, we can create two departures
