  • This is a path following in the footsteps of Rousseau not for philosophizing, but for daydreaming... whether you're alone or with other walkers, and discovering majestic viewpoints of the Chambéry Valley.

    - The Charmettes, Jean-Jacques Rousseau's House. An officially listed "Maison des Illustres" (House of the Illustrious), this residence is the place where the famous philosopher's personality and mind were forged. Today it is a museum of literary recollections.
    - Château de Boigne and its alpine rose garden.
    - Numerous viewpoints of the valley of Chambéry.
    - Local products presented at La Ruche Boutik', the shop of the Tourist Office of Chambéry Montagnes.

    When you leave the car park, cross rue Michaud and take the promenade Jean Moulin opposite, then turn left into rue de la République to reach La Ruche Boutik'.

    Take the rue de la République in the direction of the Centre de Congrès Le Manège and walk 200m up to La Ruche Boutik'.
