    (2) At the "Les Buissonnets" sign, turn left towards Cherlieu. Continue straight ahead on the road through the hamlet. Before the last houses, turn left onto the track that climbs towards the forest, in the direction of Le Clot via the Chemin du Pissot. Go up the track alongside the stream and, at the wood depot, cross over to take the left-hand track into the forest. The track becomes a little steeper as it turns left away from the stream. At the top of the climb, leave the two tracks on the right and take the flat path across. The path drops down to an intersection where you turn right (sign with yellow arrow). You come out of the forest at the top of the slopes at Les Egaux ski resort. Enjoy the view over the village of Saint-Hugues-en-Chartreuse, with the Grand Som in the background. You arrive back in the forest at Le Clot.
    (3) Turn left and head downhill towards Sur les Epallets.
    (4) At the sign for "Sur les Epallets", take the track which goes back to the right. Follow the tree-lined path down to the left. You'll come to a road which you turn right onto towards the hamlet of Garcinière. At the pond, take the path opposite the bread oven which leads off to the left. After a short descent, cross the Rachas stream and continue on the left-hand track. Take the track on the right before the colony buildings, heading for La Pérelle. After the meadow, go down to the stream, cross it and go back up to the Col du Coq road.
    (5) At the "La Pérelle" sign, follow signs for Brévardière along the road on your left and continue into the heart of the hamlet.
    (6) At the pond, turn left between the houses and head back down to the river. At the old mill, cross over to a meadow. The path leads back down to a stream, which you cross on the lookout before joining the road to Les Épallets. Turn left, then 50 m further on, take the track that runs off to the right behind the electricity transformer, and climb towards Les Egaux. At the second "Les Epallets" post at the top of the climb, turn left into the hamlet of Les Egaux.
    (7) From here, turn right twice to return to the Crêt des Egaux parking lot.
