(1) Starting from the hamlet of La Diat, at the exit of the swimming pool car park, climb left to the Valombré gîte (yellow markings) and turn right in front of it. (2) Follow signs for ‘Pierre Mesure’ until you reach the signpost of the same name, then continue past Les Granges de Pleynan, where you turn left and descend towards the hamlet of Les Revols. (3) On the road at the exit of the hamlet, turn right. The road loops to the left, then turns right towards the hamlet of Les Cottaves (4). At the hamlet of Cottaves (5), turn back to point (4). Take the ‘chemin de St Bruno’ opposite, cross the road and continue straight downhill towards the hamlet of Marrons. (6) Before reaching this hamlet, you will come to the road that climbs up to the Col de Porte (take care!). On leaving the hamlet of Les Marrons, after the campsite, take the road on the left towards the hamlet of La Martinière. (7) At the entrance to this hamlet, turn right and, 200 metres further on, take a path on the left which leads to a meadow and crosses it. The path then winds down through the forest to La Diat. Continue on to return to your starting point.
