Description

Hiking and Health is my leitmotiv. Mountain hiking and snowshoeing, botanical excursions, animal watching, hiking anti-vertigo; Nordic Walking; relaxation sessions (individual or groups).
Hikes for All: "Overcoming Fear of Heights" Fear of heights, fear of falling, dizziness, weak knees—can’t seem to move forward? It doesn’t have to be this way! These hikes will teach you techniques and tips to combat vertigo, helping you regain your footing and rebuild your self-confidence. "The Secret Life of the Forest" Throughout the year, hikes to explore the forest ecosystem in off-the-beaten-path locations. “Mountain Flora in Spring and Summer” At high elevations, spring arrives later than in the valley, and the growing season is shorter. From April through August, high-altitude meadows and scree slopes resemble colorful carpets of thousands of flowers. How do certain plants survive on rocks or in scree? How do flowers protect themselves from sunburn? What are the tiny trees that grow far above the tree line? My hikes allow you to discover all these extreme environments (from a botanical perspective!) and this wonderful world of colors, shapes, and ingenious adaptations to the harsh conditions of the mountains. “The Secrets of Orchids” Orchids are amazing flowers: living in perfect symbiosis with microfungi and insects, they’ve developed highly sophisticated reproductive mechanisms. You’ll discover different species, from the most unassuming to the most spectacular. Grab your magnifying glasses and cameras! “Hiking and Foot Reflexology” Walking is one of the most natural things there is! Our feet carry us and… endure a lot, yet we rarely pay them much attention. During a short, easy, and varied hike, we’ll explore the usefulness and sensitivity of our feet: exercises to ground ourselves, boost our energy, and experience the benefits of water—followed by an introduction to foot reflexology. Edible Plants or Deadly Plants? Plants that heal, sting, bewitch, or kill—it’s often just a matter of dosage whether a plant or fruit is edible or deadly… But it’s best to know them so you don’t make a fatal mistake! “Large Mountain Wildlife Observation” In the fall, with the first snowfall, mouflons, chamois, and ibex come down from the high mountains and are easier to spot. The rutting season begins. A hike to observe these herbivores and learn more about their behavior and the threats they face. On the Trail of the Wolf Since its return to France some thirty years ago, the wolf has been the subject of much discussion. Reviled by some, adored by others, it remains mysterious and stirs up strong emotions. My snowshoe hikes shed light on the life of this great predator and its prey, as we follow their tracks and explore the wolf’s role and the challenges associated with its presence in the French Alps. Nordic Walking: weekly classes, 3 levels training for volunteer instructors training for professional sports instructors advanced training courses (for clubs and professionals) Health-Focused Nordic Walking Every other Monday at 10 a.m.
