Easily accessible and in a rural setting, just a few meters from the Hyères river, Lac de la Pisserotte offers great fishing thrills, whether you're a beginner or an experienced angler.
Trout: use light lines for maximum discretion (float less than 10 g) and use a moth or tebos to seduce the rainbows that are released every week. In this lake, trout are on the move, prospecting along the banks and particularly keen around the small central island.
Black bass: bring plenty of different lures. Black bass have an amazing memory and won't be fooled twice by the same trick. The open banks allow you to fish them with large streamers and poppers, irresistible to this predator, as well as with casts, spoons and swimming fish.
Whitefish: at depths of 2 to 4 m, you don't need a big rod to fish for whitefish; a 4 to 6 m rod will suffice. For roach, rotengles and bleak, use coloured maggots and, to seduce beautiful tench, mud worms will be more effective: they are very fond of them.
Please note: the Lac de la Pisserotte has specific regulations that change every year. Consult the Gaule des Coudans website for details.
